Making a Difference, One Paw at a Time: Hani Habbas Joins OCBA for Drive-Thru Pet Food Pantry

At HH Law Firm, we believe true advocacy extends beyond the courtroom—and into the community. This past May, our very own Hani Habbas joined fellow members of the Orange County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division for the monthly Drive-Thru Pet Food Pantry, hosted at OC Animal Care in Tustin. The heartwarming event was recently featured in the July 2025 issue of Orange County Lawyer Magazine.

The Pet Food Pantry serves a vital need—providing pet food to families facing financial hardships, ensuring that beloved pets don't go hungry when times are tough. The drive-thru setup allows for a seamless and dignified experience for all who come through, and every bag of food handed out represents hope, compassion, and solidarity with our neighbors.

Hani, along with a team of volunteers, helped with everything from sorting and loading pet food, to managing traffic, and rolling up his sleeves to set up and tear down. But what stood out most was the sense of unity—the smiles, the wagging tails, and the shared commitment to caring for every member of our community, furry ones included.

As a firm rooted in Irvine and led by a lawyer who volunteers with heart and purpose, this event was yet another reflection of who we are: community-first, people-powered, and deeply invested in making a difference.

We’re proud of Hani and all the OCBA volunteers for showing that the law isn't just about justice—it's about kindness, too.
