Hani Habbas has been around the law since he was sixteen, shaped by a family of lawyers and by an early conviction about how the work should be done. In April 2024, he founded HH Law Firm in Irvine to practice on his own terms: focused, honest, and relentless in service of the people he represents. Clients across California and Washington, D.C., where he is licensed, describe the same lawyer, one who knows their case cold and treats it like it matters, because it does.
His practice is broader than most people expect. Hani built his reputation in personal injury, and he still litigates serious injury and wrongful death cases. But the work reaches well beyond it. He handles civil rights and discrimination matters under Section 1983, the Bane Act, the Ralph Act, and the Unruh Act, representing people whose rights were violated by police, institutions, or anyone who attempted to deny them equal treatment. He fights for families in education and special education cases, where the services a child is owed too often have to be won. He represents tenants against landlords who allow conditions to rot, and he protects elders and their families in matters of abuse and neglect.
What ties it all together is one instinct. Someone with power got it wrong, and someone without it needs a fighter. Hani brings facts, preparation, and a record of results to every one of those fights.
Beyond the courtroom, Hani serves as President of the Southern California Chapter of the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, advocating for civil rights and equal treatment far past any single case. He writes regularly for Orange County Lawyer Magazine and has been recognized by the City of Irvine for his community work. He gives his time because he believes the obligation does not end at the office door.
If you are looking for an attorney in California or D.C. who will take your case seriously and fight as if it were his own, Hani Habbas is ready to talk.
